THA WERD DEFINED
--- Origin
Started as a silent movement in 2005, 'Tha Werd' was always 'We', 'Us' and 'Our' and based on the Steve Silk Hurley song named 'The Word is Love' in 1997. It was once a blog with the same name and had profiled 112 women and 121 companies.
--- Concept
The answers have always been in the music and in a broader sense, 'Tha Werd' believes that God, however that this energy is perceived, speaks to us through our music. Music, in a sense, is our religion. 12-21-2012 is not perceived as the end of the Earth, but rather some of the writing that came out of this project called it 'Birth' and supported 'Gaia' theories about our existence. 'Tha Werd' was spelled as such because 'We' is the first word in 'Werd' and 'We' also 'R&D' by being a connected network of movements and companies that we love. #WERD
